Role: UX Designer
App developers on the Intel platform were having a difficult time submitting their applications for review and publication to the AppUp digital storefront. Rather than redesign the developer submission tools from scratch, we performed a UX audit and visual redesign. Our 50-page document emphasized the needs for consistent design pattern across the interface and the addition of missing features.
The Windows Embedded project was an opportunity for playful UX. Microsoft asked us to channel the emerging enthusiasm for embedded software (internet-of-things) into a website redesign. My team and I responded by designing moving layouts showcasing the environments and products that operate on the Windows Embedded platform.
Designed for the brewery owner, this military helmet (equipped with a personal amplification system, geo- tweeting utility belt, and hazard light) was a working prototype for a brew tour marketing event. The helmet was intended to be used by the “Georgetown General” for the purpose of rounding up troops and leading the charge to the next venue.
